European equity portfolios are managed by Claus Anthon who has over 25 years investment experience, the bulk of which (21 years) was gained at the SG Warburg/Mercury Asset Management Group where he ran higher performance mandate European equity portfolios.

The portfolio is invested in companies with a market capitalisation above US$1billion. The investment approach is the same as that of other portfolios managed by Oldfield Partners: long only, concentrated (15-25 holdings), index-ignorant, anti-short-term and contrarian.
