Japanese equity portfolios are managed by Robert White who has over 30 years investment experience, the bulk of which has been spent covering the Japanese market from the buy and sell side.

The portfolio is invested in companies with a market capitalisation above US$1billion. The investment approach is the same as that of other portfolios managed by Oldfield Partners: long only, concentrated (15-25 holdings), index-ignorant, anti-short-term and contrarian.
